From Manassas, VA Area:
Option 1

• Take Route 66 West toward Haymarket.
• Exit onto Route 15 North to Leesburg.
• Follow Route 15 North until you intersect with Route 7 West.
• Take Route 7 West toward Purcellville.
• Exit onto Route 9 North.
• Follow Route 9 North through VA into WV and VA 9 becomes Old WV 9.
• You will come to a stoplight at Congress Street, just prior to the center of Charles Town.
• Turn left onto Congress Street.
• APUS is the second building on the left (including the corner building). It is a three-story, yellow brick building.
  

Option 2

• Take Route 66 West toward Haymarket.
• Exit onto Route 17 North to Paris (note: This is the second exit for Route 17 on Route 66 West and is where Route 66 divides).
• Follow Route 17 North to Route 50 West.
• Follow Route 50 West to the town of Boyce.
• Turn right onto Route 340 North. Follow Route 340 North to Charles Town.
• Turn left on Augustine Road.
• Follow road into town (note 25 mph speed limit).
• Turn right onto Congress Street.
• APUS is the three-story, yellow brick building on the right, the second building after the elementary school.
  

From Dulles Airport:

• From Dulles Airport take Route 28 North to Route 7.
  
• Turn left onto Route 7 West toward Leesburg and Warrenton.
  
• Take VA Route 9 North (the Charles Town Pike) toward Hillsboro and Charles Town. Follow Route 9 North through VA into WV and VA Route 9 becomes Old WV Route 9.
  
• You will come to a stoplight at Congress Street, just prior to the center of Charles Town. Turn left onto Congress Street.
  
• APUS is the second building on the left (including the corner building). It is a three-story, yellow brick building.
  

From Alexandria, VA:

• From the beltway, Route 495, take the Route 7 exit West toward Tyson’s Corner, Leesburg, and Winchester.
• Take VA Route 9 North (the Charles Town Pike) toward Hillsboro and Charles Town.
• Follow Route 9 North through VA into WV and VA Route 9 becomes Old WV Route 9.
• You will come to a stoplight at Congress Street, just prior to the center of Charles Town.
• Turn left onto Congress Street.
• APUS is the second building on the left (including the corner building). It is a three-story, yellow brick building.
  

From points near Frederick, MD:

• From Route 70, take Route 15/340 South.
• Take “Route 340 to Charles Town” at Route 15/340 split.
• Follow Route 340 into town when it turns into Route 51. DO NOT take the Route 340 Bypass around Charles Town.
• Turn left at the town center’s stoplight onto South George Street.
• Turn right at the next stoplight onto Congress Street.
• APUS is the second building on the left (including the corner building.) It is a three-story, yellow brick building.
