Mr. J. Christopher Everett

Mr. J. Christopher Everett is an independent consultant and investor and currently serves on the Boards of Ryan Building Group, Ideaca, Ltd., Dan Ryan Builders, and Valley Motors, Inc. in addition to serving on the Board of American Public Education, Inc. Mr. Everett has also served as an Executive in Residence at the Kogod School of Business at American University where he taught graduate courses in the application of technology and strategy.

Prior to his retirement in 2000, he was a senior partner in the international public accounting firm of PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he was a leader in the firm’s Management Consulting Services Practice. Mr. Everett served as the firm’s Global E-business practice leader from 1998 until 2000 and he built and led the world’s largest ERP implementation practice between 1993 and1998. He also was elected as a member of the PwC Global Oversight Board (the firm’s Board of Directors) and served on the Global Leadership Team from 1995 until his retirement in 2000.

During his 25 year career with PwC he advised a wide range of Global 500 organizations including financial institutions, manufacturing corporations, high technology companies, consumer products companies and pharmaceutical and chemical companies on a variety of technology and strategic business issues. He was also a frequent speaker on technology issues including at the World Economic Forum, and has been quoted as an ebusiness expert in Fortune, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal and numerous technology publications.

Prior to his business career, Mr. Everett served as an officer and fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Everett graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS degree in Operations Research and received his MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He also completed postgraduate education in technology management at the Harvard Business School.
