- a minimum of 12 semester hours will be applied to the General Education area
- a minimum of 9 semester hours will be applied to the Core or Major area
- all other credit will be applied according to standard policy
- a maximum of 60 semester hours will remain for completion of the Bachelor’s Degree
Note: Specific details and remaining course requirements will vary per student; and will be detailed in the Academic Plan once an official Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) is completed.
Students must send in an official CCAF transcript detailing completion of the AAS Degree award, along with other required admission documents. Credits from previous institutions transferred into a CCAF AAS Degree award will be incorporated into the Cooperative MOU credit and will be reviewed on a course by course basis. Click here for steps on “GETTING STARTED” with the Transfer Credit Evaluation process: http://www.apus.edu/TransferCredit/index.htm. Guidelines: - A student has met the terms of the agreement and is eligible for a Transfer Credit Evaluation review if they have completed the specific AAS Degree from CCAF, are pursuing the linking 2007 APUS program, and have not yet had an Initial TCE completed.
- If an initial evaluation has already been prepared and the student completed the specific AAS Degree AFTER June 15, 2007, they can send in the updated paperwork. A TCE Update Request Form must also be submitted to initiate the review process.
- If a student changes their degree program AFTER June 15, 2007 they are eligible for a review of their AAS Degree for possible transfer credit.
- If a student has already had an Initial TCE completed and their documentation has already been reviewed and no additional paperwork is to be submitted, they are NOT eligible for the agreement terms. i.e. if a student has already had an Initial TCE completed and is a degree seeking student in an AU-ABC approved degree program prior to 15 June 07, they are NOT eligible for another TCE under the terms of this agreement.
Please Note: For those students who have completed a different AAS Degree from CCAF, we will conduct course by course evaluations as well as follow the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations for awarding transfer credit. Credit must be evaluated by the American Council on Education (ACE) and recommended for UNDERGRADUATE level credit in order to possibly apply towards an Undergraduate Degree program at APUS.
