It is the student's responsibility to alert APUS that s/he may fall under a current Articulation Agreement by emailing his/her Student ID and the name of the Articulation Agreement to articulations@apus.edu. Eligibility: Undergraduates must be pursuing one of the following programs at the University: - Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (General Program)
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies (No Concentration)
Guidelines: - A student has met the terms of the agreement and is eligible for possible Transfer Credit Evaluation review if they completed the specific Degree from Lackawanna College AFTER the effective date of August 1, 2007 and they have not yet had an Initial TCE completed.
- If an initial evaluation has already been prepared and the student completed the specific degree from Lackawanna College AFTER October 12, 2007, they can send in the updated paperwork. A TCE Update Request Form must also be submitted to initiate the review process.
- If a student changes their degree program AFTER October 12, 2007, they are eligible for a review of their Lackawanna College Degree for possible transfer credit as long as the degree was completed AFTER August 1, 2007.
- If a student has already had an Initial TCE completed and their documentation has already been reviewed and no additional paperwork is to be submitted, they are NOT eligible for the agreement terms.
A student must have completed any one of the following Associates Degree programs at Lackawanna College and must have achieved a grade of C or higher in each course. A sealed official transcript must be sent in order to detail the degree conferral and in accordance to the terms of the agreement along with other required admission documents: - Associate of Science – Criminal Justice (Counseling Career)
- Associate of Science – Criminal Justice (Police Career)
- Associate of Science – Environmental Studies (Policy Career)
- Associate of Science – Environmental Studies (Science Career)
Please note: For those students who are not pursuing one of these programs or have taken a course outside the dates, we are required to follow course by course evaluations and the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations for awarding transfer credit. Credit must be evaluated by ACE and recommended for Undergraduate level credit in order to possibly apply towards an Undergraduate degree program at APUS. | |
