It is the student's responsibility to alert APUS that s/he may fall under a current Articulation Agreement by emailing his/her Student ID and the name of the Articulation Agreement to articulations@apus.edu.

Note: APUS does not issue transcripts for students unless they have completed a course with the University. 
 
Eligibility:

Undergraduate students must be pursuing one of the following programs at the University:

  • Any APUS Undergraduate Degree

Guidelines:

  • A student has met the terms of the agreement and is eligible for possible Transfer Credit Evaluation review if they completed the specific Certificate courses at New Horizons AFTER the EFFECTIVE DATES listed in the agreement below and they have not yet had an Initial TCE completed.
  • If an initial evaluation has already been prepared and the student completed the specific Certificate courses from New Horizons AFTER March 26, 2007, they can send in the updated paperwork.  A TCE Update Request Form must also be submitted to initiate the review process.
  • If a student changes their degree program AFTER March 26, 2007, they are eligible for a review of their New Horizons Certificate courses for possible transfer credit as long as the courses were completed AFTER the EFFECTIVE DATES as listed in the agreement.
  • If a student has already had an Initial TCE completed and their documentation has already been reviewed and no additional paperwork is to be submitted, they are NOT eligible for the agreement terms.

Undergraduate students entering ANY APUS Undergraduate Degree program AFTER March 26, 2007 must submit a CERTIFICATE for each course(s) completed AFTER the EFFECTIVE DATES below for up to 45 credits acceptable towards an AA Degree program or up to 90 transfer credits towards a BA/BS Degree program.

Please Note:

For those students who are not pursuing this program OR have taken a course outside the dates, we are required to follow the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations for awarding transfer credit.  Credit must be evaluated by ACE and recommended for Undergraduate level credit in order to possibly apply towards an Undergraduate program at APUS.
