Guidelines:

  • A student has met the terms of the agreement and is eligible for possible Transfer Credit Evaluation review if they completed the specific initial degree at Pikes Peak CC AFTER January 1, 2007 and they have not yet had an Initial TCE completed.
  • If an initial evaluation has already been prepared and the student completed the specific degree from Pikes Peak CC AFTER April 18, 2007, they can send in the updated paperwork.  A TCE Update Request Form must also be submitted to initiate the review process.
  • If a student changes their degree program AFTER April 18, 2007, they are eligible for a review of their Pikes Peak CC degree for possible transfer credit as long as the degree was completed at Pikes Peak CC AFTER the effective date listed in the agreement.
  • If a student has already had an Initial TCE completed and their documentation has already been reviewed and no additional paperwork is to be submitted, they are NOT eligible for the agreement terms.

A student must have completed any one of the following degree programs at Pikes Peak CC and must have achieved a grade of C or higher in each course.  A sealed official transcript must be sent in order to detail the degree conferral and in accordance to the terms of the agreement:

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) – Criminal Justice
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) – Homeland Security / Emergency Management

Please note:

For those students who are not pursuing one of these programs or have taken a course outside the dates, we are required to follow the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations for awarding transfer credit.  Credit must be evaluated by ACE and recommended for Undergraduate level credit in order to possibly apply towards an Undergraduate degree program at APUS.
