| | Students should only send in certificates of completion for the following reviewed American Council on Education (ACE) recommended courses/programs found on this list. In order to ensure we can complete all students’ evaluations in the timeframe we have promised, these are the only certificates that we will automatically include in a graduate transfer credit evaluation: - Air Battle Manager Course
- Defense Threat Reduction Agency
- Emergency Management Institute (EMI)
- Federal Aviation Admin (FAA)
- Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA)
- Global Maritime & Transportation School (GMATS)
- Learning Tree International
- Netg
- National Fire Academy (NFA)
- Space Operations Officer Qualification Course (SOOQC)
- USAF F-15/F-16 Pilot Training
- USAF Fighter Pilot Instructor Course
- SR-Galillee College National Security Cert
- Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Associates (FBINAA)
- Goodfellow AFB (Intelligence Officer Course, Intel, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Operations Course, Missions Operations Commander Course, Combat Targeting Course, Intelligence Master Skills Course)
If you attended a school or training program that is not on this list, and they do not issue official transcripts, we will not automatically review the certificate for credit. The majority of other certificates that have been submitted to us in the past resulted in no additional credit being awarded.
If you believe that your program has been reviewed by ACE and recommended for credit, you may research this by clicking on this link and search by a course name: www.acenet.edu/nationalguide/ . For military courses, please visit www.militaryguides.acenet.edu.
Please note: If you find that your training course name or military program has been reviewed and recommended by ACE for graduate level credit, here is the information you will need to submit to us in order to have the additional certificates reviewed. - Ensure that your location you took the course is on your official certificate and matches the locations reviewed in the ACE recommendation. If the locations do not match, the ACE recommendation does not apply.
- Ensure that your dates you took the course are on the official certificate and match the dates of the course reviewed in the ACE recommendation. If the dates do not match, the ACE recommendation does not apply.
- Ensure that the ACE recommendation is for credit at the graduate level. Vocational or baccalaureate (undergraduate) credit can not be used.
- Write the exact ACE ID Number and your STUDENT ID on your certificate.
- Scan and email this to coursedescriptions@apus.edu or fax to 304.724.3789.
It is very important that you fax or email this ONLY to the locations given above. Faxes or emails sent to the wrong queue will not be recognized and will likely not be added to your student transfer credit record. | |
