Fort Huachuca Military Intelligence School (MIS) Military Intelligence Captain's Career Course (MICCC) Active Duty and Reserve Component
It is the student's responsibility to alert APUS that s/he may fall under a current Internal Recommendation policy by emailing his/her Student ID and the name of the Internal Recommendation to articulations@apus.edu.
Eligibility:
Graduate students must be pursuing the following program at the University:
- Master of Arts in Intelligence Studies
Note: Transfer credit award will vary based upon the student's selected concentration.
Guidelines:
- A student has met the terms of the agreement and is eligible for possible Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) review if they completed either of the specific Military Intelligence Captain's Career Courses (MICCC) listed below at Fort Huachuca Military Intelligence School (MIS) AFTER January 1, 2004 and they have not yet had an Initial TCE completed.
- If an Initial TCE has already been prepared and the student completed the specific course at Fort Huachuca MIS AFTER December 5, 2005, they can send in the updated paperwork. A TCE Update Request Form must also be submitted to initiate the review process.
- If a student changes their degree program AFTER December 5, 2005, they are eligible for a review of their Fort Huachuca MIS coursework for possible transfer credit.
- If a student has already had an Initial TCE completed, their documentation has already been reviewed, and no additional paperwork is to be submitted, they are NOT eligible for this internal policy.
Students must send in a copy of their certificate of completion or DA1059-Service School Academic Report from Fort Huachuca MIS detailing the completion of the specific MICCC course along with a TCE Application. Documentation of successful completion may make a student eligible for the following transfer credit recommendations depending on their specific graduate degree program requirements:

Please Note:
For those students who are not pursuing one of these programs or that have taken a course outside the effective dates listed for this agreement, we are required to follow the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations for awarding transfer credit. Credit must be evaluated by ACE and recommended for graduate level credit in order to possibly apply toward a graduate degree program at APUS.
This Internal Recommendation is valid for the programs listed which will be reviewed each catalog year and credit recommendations may change if the programs or the agreement are altered and/or re-evaluated.
