Global Maritime and Transportation School (GMATS)
It is the student's responsibility to alert APUS that s/he may fall under a current Internal Recommendation Policy by emailing his/her Student ID and the name of the Internal Recommendation to articulations@apus.edu.
Eligibility:
Graduate students must be pursuing one of the following programs at the University (maximum semester hours of transfer credit from this internal policy):
- Any Graduate level degree program (15 SH*)
Students may maximize transfer credit from this internal policy by pursuing the following program:
- Masters in Transportation and Logistics Management
*Per APUS policy, a maximum of 9 semester hours transfer credit may be applied to a graduate student's CORE/MAJOR requirements.
Guidelines:
- A student has met the terms of the agreement and is eligible for possible Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) review if they completed the specific course(s) through the Global Maritime and Transportation School (GMATS) and have not yet had an Initial TCE completed.
- If an Initial TCE has already been prepared and the student completed the specific course(s) through the GMATS after the official evaluation was completed, they can send in the updated paperwork. A TCE Update Request Form must also be submitted to initiate the review process.
- If a student changes their degree program, they are eligible for a review of their GMATS transcript and/or certificate(s) for possible transfer credit.
- If a student has already had an Initial TCE completed, their documentation has already been reviewed, and no additional paperwork is to be submitted, they are NOT eligible for this internal policy.
Students must send in a copy of their transcript and/or certificate(s) from the Global Maritime and Transportation School along with a TCE Application. Students may then be eligible to receive the following:
