Every accredited institution of higher learning has a requirement called “residency” that governs how many credits can be transferred in toward a degree at their school. Transfer credit “residency” requires that a certain amount of credit for a student’s program be earned at the ‘home’ university, thus putting a limit on the amount that can be transferred in from outside sources.
Award of credit is subject to the transfer credit guidelines established for our university, as well as the specific requirements of the student’s chosen program of study. Transfer credit priority will be given to semester hours from accredited institutions where graded credit was awarded.
