* The General Education Science section of any APUS degree program must include a lab component. As CLEP exams do not contain labs, the General Education Science section cannot be fulfilled by completing a CLEP exam alone. Without a corresponding lab completed, this credit would be applied to the Electives area of a student’s degree program, if available. Please contact creditaward@apus.edu with any questions prior to completing a science CLEP exam.

** Another version of this exam titled 'College Composition Modular, with Essay' is also offered through CLEP. Please note, while APUS will accept passing scores on this exam for transfer credit, we will not review the essay portion of the exam for possible transfer credit. Successful completion of this exam will result in the same credit recommendation indicated in the table for 'College Composition Modular'.

*** If a student already has credit for ECON201, they will not be awarded transfer credit for ECON101. Likewise, if a student already has credit for ECON202, they will not be awarded transfer credit for ECON102.
