An unofficial evaluation is done when a student is told the number of credits that may transfer without having had the transcripts and/or documentation formally reviewed. Our university does not offer "preliminary" or "unofficial" evaluations because we have found large discrepancies when any type of evaluation is attempted without comparing original source documents for the course with published ACE guidelines. Our Evaluation Team focuses on official TCE because they do not want any student to receive incorrect or misleading information about transfer credit. Admitted students who need general guidance on course registration prior to TCE completion should contact their Student Advisor counseling@apus.edu for assistance. |
