Alumni Advisory Board
Our alumni are an integral part of our community and we want them to stay actively engaged and involved with the university. To increase our alumni involvement the alumni advisory board was created.
The alumni advisory board is a select body, largely represented by our alumni, as well as students nearing degree completion. Member's main role is to provide feedback to the Office of Alumni Affairs on a broad range of university matters and departments.
This 10-member board increases the visibility of alumni as a unique and important constituency within the university. Representing alumni's interests in a broad range of university matters, the alumni advisory board provides advice on on-going projects; proposes enhanced alumni services; and assists in the selection of alumni award recipients.
Have suggestions for an alumni or university program, service, or benefit that would enhance the experience of our community? We encourage you to communicate these to the alumni advisory board. Online Social and Professional Networking
To maintain contact with classmates, alumni, and the faculty, several social networking opportunities are offered. Promoting connection, we offer alumni the opportunity to belong to the alumni Facebook group, a dynamic and trusted online community. Through Facebook, alumni can connect and gather the latest university news, resources, and information relevant to the alumni community.
In addition, alumni can network and stay connected utilizing the Alumni Lounge. The alumni lounge is an exclusive Web forum for our students and alumni.
Alumni looking to give back to the university are encouraged to join the Global Mentor Network. The mentoring network consists of thousands of alumni and advanced graduate students eager to work with students to create a clear and efficient pathway to academic and professional success.

Career Services
We believe that access to valuable career information, advice and guidance to achieve goals, and the importance of career planning are vital to a person's personal and professional success. The Office of Career Services serves as a connecting point between students, alumni, and employers in an increasingly diverse job market.
Our primary services include resume reviews, virtual career fairs, access to the FOCUS-2 personal career assessment tool, NACElink (a growing database of employers and employment opportunities), and unlimited access to Career Insider, Powered by Vault.

Community Member Locator
It's important to us that our alumni have the opportunity to stay connected. Many of our students and alumni do not wish to publish their contact information. To help alumni reconnect, the Office of Alumni Affairs will email almost any university/community member (on your behalf). Let us help you reconnect today!
Lifetime Online Library Access
To promote life-long learning, our alumni have continuous access to the extensive online library, housing millions of publications; scholarly journals; and databases such as Ebsco, Proquest, LexisNexis, and other resources.

Ambassador Program
The university ambassadors are a select group of alumni and current students from the university who exemplify qualities of leadership, scholarship, and commitment to the mission of our universities. New ambassadors are invited to join the group on a quarterly basis.
