Internships and Fellowships

InternsInternships
Internships emphasize on-the-job training to further enhance a student’s experience in a particular field or industry. An internship program can be paid, unpaid, or partially paid depending on the hiring organization. At this time, APUS does not provide academic credit for completion of internships, but we encourage you to view the available resources on the left for your own professional development.

Fellowships
Fellowships are intended to aid students in completing research. Most foundations and institutes require a Ph.D., but there are many other groups who extend fellowship opportunities to both undergraduate and (non-Ph.D.) graduate students. Available resources are on the left to help you learn more about fellowship opportunities.
