Mixing & Mingling at the Reception Gala

1,000 graduates, guests, and faculty were hosted at a welcome reception held in the Potomac Ballroom. Dr. Conrad Lotze, Associate Provost of Academic Affairs, kicked off the event with opening remarks and the introduction of our academic deans. Relive Your Big Moment

On Saturday, June 18, 2016 we welcomed nearly 1,100 individuals to the celebration, including over 500 graduate students and 600 undergraduate students, along with their guests, faculty, and staff. The Class of 2016 consisted of more than 10,000 graduates from around the globe, including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 24 countries across five continents.
