Commencement procession

Ceremony Live Stream

All commencement ceremonies, as well as some of the events throughout the weekend are streamed live. If you cannot celebrate with us at the Gaylord, we hope you'll join us virtually. To get an idea of what you'll see, you can watch ceremony videos from last year.

Private & Military Ceremonies

If you are unable to attend our annual ceremony, you may want to plan your own ceremony. In a private ceremony, you may have an official – a commander, supervisor, etc. – conduct the ceremony. We will provide you with a ceremonial diploma, a university press kit, and an optional ceremony script that will assist your presenter during the ceremony. To request a packet, please complete the online form.

In addition, many military installations hold joint recognition ceremonies to honor graduates in and around their communities. For inquiries or more information, please contact an AMU or APU representative in your area.

Attending From a Distance

Join us at commencement by appearing on the big screen! If you are a graduate unable to attend, but still wish to participate in the celebration, submit a congratulatory video message to your fellow graduates. If selected, your video will be included in a compilation of submissions and played during the ceremonies! To submit a video, visit our Commencement Virtual Attendee Page. While you’re there learn how you can earn a trip to commencement on us!
