Synopsis of Role:
Collaborate with Finance department to develop and implement process improvements using MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
Essential Functions:
- Identify and pursue process and systems improvements.
- Perform Level 2 application support.
- Collaborate with peers in IT Applications and Technology Operations in management of effective business solutions.
- Develop functional knowledge of related student information system and learning management system.
Critical Skills and Job Complexity:
- Experience in application systems analysis using MS Dynamics GP.
- Quality assurance planning, preparation and execution.
- Judgment related to prioritization of multiple issues.
- Root cause analysis and ability to conceive and implement effective process improvements in an incremental fashion.
- Persistence and a passion for continual improvement.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proactive informal and formal communication to customers and colleagues.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience with MS Dynamics GP in areas of accounts receivable and billing, accounts payable and general ledger.
- Minimum of 2 years experience using SQL on a MS Dynamics GP platform.
- Minimum 3-5 years in similar IT functions using MS Dynamics GP.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Quality assurance and programming experience desired.
- Systems analysis experience required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Standard office environment in Charles Town, WV.
