Synopsis of Role:
Provides support to Advising team members by directly supporting the Student Advising Quality Assurance team.
Essential Functions:
- Organize and maintain quality assurance records for the student advising teams; to include progress reports, excel spreadsheets and tracking sheets.
- Organize and initiate all quality assurance processes and programs.
- Organize and maintain all department wide performance and trend data.
- Provide reporting support for all personnel reviews.
- Assist in the planning and development of new Quality Assurance Specialist training programs.
- Collaborate with the department’s training team to organize and implement quality assurance specific training opportunities for current advising team members.
- Complete initial, data-entry and research driven steps for several quality assurance processes.
- Serve as point of contact for miscellaneous quality assurance questions.
- Maintain the Advising Quality Assurance team’s email-box and associated calendar.
- Provide office administrative support, including faxing, copying, and printing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to detect and report trends and outliers in various data sets.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills (including editing experience).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Experience in a professional office setting required.
- Strong Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and Access skills (specifically, experience creating and editing spreadsheets with formulas and manipulating data within reports to extract pertinent information).
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Standard office environment in Manassas, VA.
- Ability to telecommute when necessary/approved.
