Synopsis of Role:
Respond to phone and e-mail inquiries from students concerning academic advising, academic programs, APUS policies, and other student concerns within the scope of student services.
Essential Functions:
- Aid students with the navigation of the online student campus.
- Review students’ requests to change majors, analyze credit impact, advise student, and update program requirements as needed.
- Promote academic progress and degree completion.
- Interact with other University departments on behalf of the student.
- Ensure high level of student retention through high standards of service.
- Other duties as needed to support our student body.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least one to two years professional office experience required; experience in a Student Services or Registrar’s office preferred.
- Strong Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and Access skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Standard office environment in Manassas, VA.
