Synopsis of Role:
Respond to APUS student phone and e-mail inquiries concerning registration, grades, extensions, drops & withdrawals, probation, and other Registrar office tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Comply with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act when releasing information.
- Work with students, staff and faculty to resolve student issues in a positive and collaborative manner.
- Stay abreast of all APUS policies, programs and procedures in order to provide assistance and guidance to students in various arenas.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records.
- Ensure high level of student retention through high standards of service.
- Balance needs of internal and external constituents.
- Provide back up for other staff in the office.
- Other duties as assigned to support our student body and organization.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Professional office experience required; prior experience in a Registrar's office or other academic environment strongly preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Standard office environment in Charles Town, WV.
