Synopsis of Role:
Responsibilities include conducting analysis, planning and testing the business applications including back-end functionality by performing system tests, regression tests and smoke tests prior to release. Help define best practices, strategies and procedures for all quality assurance purposes.
Essential Functions:
- Help define QA processes and checkpoints for the production process including inputs into the production process for our various technology and data/client service divisions.
- Enhance and develop test plans, test cases, automated test scripts and other testing documentation.
- Perform system and regression testing per scheduled releases.
- Ability to collaborate well with other team members in aggressive work environment.
- Assess, analyze and mitigate application and data related issues.
- Drive testing processes prior to release to reduce errors and ensure projects are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adaptable person who can deal with rapidly changing requirements of a growing organization.
- Responsible for defect reporting, tracking and closure,
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or extended experience in software quality assurance testing required.
- Experience with .Net Applications desired.
- Experience with automated testing tools (HP (formerly Mercury) suite preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Standard office environment in Charles Town, WV.
- Minimal travel may be required.
