Synopsis of Role:
This role provides administrative support to the Executive Vice President and Marketing Department team members.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinates mailings through in-house mail center and third-party fulfillment center.
- Tracks and supports ordering and stocking of premium items, brochures and other marketing materials.
- Performs office tasks such as copying, assembling, creating, and updating spreadsheets, documents, binders and packets.
- Compiles and edits PowerPoint presentations for Marketing Team members.
- Coordinates logistics for department meetings and events.
- Orders business cards, stationery and other office supplies for team.
- Greets and welcomes office guests.
- Manages general department inquiries and requests from vendors, internal clients and APUS stakeholders.
- Tracks and validates print advertisement insertions.
- Collects print advertising tear sheets and maintains binder of hard copy creative.
- Develops and maintains contact list of key influencers, ambassadors, and other stakeholders.
- Manages department calendar and general Marketing Team inbox requests.
- Coordinates updates to internal communications and presentation of marketing materials via company Intranet page and bulletin boards,
- Coordinates special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- At least five years of professional office experience required; prior experience in an academic environment desired.
