Ms. Tracy Woods - Vice President for Technology Operations and Services

Tracy Woods serves American Public University as Vice President for Technology Operations and Services where she has overall responsibility for the technology infrastructure supporting the APUS students, faculty and staff. In her role at APUS she manages user support for staff and the classroom as well as application production support, technical operations, database administration and systems and network engineering.

Prior to joining APUS, Woods served as Vice President, IT Service Delivery for Sunrise Senior Living, Inc., a global provider of senior care services which had over 400 communities in the US, Germany and the UK There she was responsible for the global technology infrastructure, network and systems engineering, database administration, application production support and user support for the communities and corporate headquarters. 

Before joining Sunrise, she led the national Internet businesses for the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC), which provided wholesale private label ISP services to rural telephone and electric cooperatives all over the United States. As the Vice President, Internet Businesses, she was responsible for all aspects of service delivery, subscriber support, technical operations and new product/business development as well as the financial performance of the business lines.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Boston University.
