Ms. Terry Grant - Vice President, Enrollment Management
Terry Grant oversees the operations of the Enrollment Management Department, which includes the Prospect Management, Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions and International Admissions teams. Since she began leading the admissions effort at APUS in 2002, enrollment has grown from 10,000 students to more than 97,000 in 2011. Ms. Grant also organizes and directs the activities of the Student Support Center, providing student-centered customer service to APUS students.
Ms. Grant has more than 15 years experience in higher education and has worked in Student Services, Admissions, Financial Aid, and as interim Registrar and adjunct faculty at both public and private institutions. Previous responsibilities include overseeing marketing and enrollment services for the DC Metro region for Averett University and the Apollo Group, developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan, recruiting and supervising marketing representatives, and building relationships at area corporations, military installations and government agencies to assist them in providing on-site higher education opportunities to their employees.
She also serves on the Board of Directors of Circle of Hope Therapeutic Riding, a nationally accredited non-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to providing equine-assisted therapies to children and adults with developmental, psychological, or physical disabilities and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Ms. Grant has a B.A. degree in Behavioral Science from the University of Maine at Machias and a Master of Science in Higher Education from the Goodwin College of Professional Studies of Drexel University where she specialized in Enrollment Management.
