Calling All Entrepreneurs: Learn How to Create a Successful Startup Strategy

Entrepreneurship is vital to the success of our national economy. Fostering a business culture of innovation is no less important in the greater Jefferson County business community. My employer, American Public University System in Charles Town, was founded by an entrepreneur and plans to help other local entrepreneurs develop their own businesses.


The new Eastern Panhandle Technology Innovation Center, a nonprofit business incubator being nurtured by APUS, is scheduled to launch early next year. APUS is currently working with the Jefferson County Development Authority to provide some coaching and mentoring for the clients of the incubator.
