During my 12 years living in Charles Town, I have enjoyed the beautiful landscape of Jefferson County and the town’s rich history. All the passion I have for our little town seems at odds with a woman who begrudgingly moved here due to her Air Force husband’s transfer to Washington, D.C., in 2001. But there is something quite magical about the essence of all that Charles Town has to offer — from culture and community to the economy, education and arts.
