Presidential Management Fellows

Since 2012, 43 American Public University System students have been finalists in the Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program. The PMF program is one of the most prestigious and competitive government opportunities in leadership development. Almost 8,000 applicants apply to the PMF program each year.

This federal career placement opportunity is a nationally-recognized leadership training program, designed with the purpose of jump-starting careers at federal agencies and developing future leaders. The annual PMF program has been matching exceptional candidates with exciting federal opportunities since 1977. Each year, the program seeks graduate students who have demonstrated a history of professional and academic excellence, and who are willing to undergo a rigorous multi-stage selection process.
