The School of Education

The School of Education is dedicated to helping students obtain their goal of becoming a teacher, administrator, or counselor through the convenience of online learning.  The Master of Education: Teaching—Elementary Education, Master of Education: Teaching—Secondary Social Studies, Master of Education: School Counseling, Master of Education: Educational Leadership, and the Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Preparation Certification program all lead to certification through the State of West Virginia. For those students who already have certification and are looking for a Masters degree to aid in their advancement the Master of Education: Teaching with concentrations in Curriculum and Instruction for Elementary Teachers, Elementary Reading, English Language Learners, Instructional Leadership, or Special Education are options to consider.
