201 Waterfront Street | National Harbor, MD AMU and APU graduates and guests will receive a discounted rate of $189.00/night and our room block will open in January 2013. The Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center is one of the many new attractions in and around the National Harbor. Located directly on the Potomac River, the Gaylord National Hotel is just minutes away from downtown Washington, D.C. It has fine dining and casual restaurants, unique shopping experiences, an indoor pool, and a 20,000 square foot spa and fitness center, along with a rooftop lounge for evening entertainment. The ceremony will be held in the Potomac Ballroom on the Hotel Ballroom Level. You are encouraged to view the hotel map prior to the ceremony. In addition to the Gaylord National Hotel, the National Harbor is a place to stay, work, and play, with more than 20 restaurants, 30 unique shops, attractions for all ages, and easy access to downtown Washington, D.C. from two piers.
The Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center is located eight miles north of Washington, D.C. and is accessible from I-495 and I-295. The National Harbor is a new development that may not register on GPS, so please consult the most current driving directions. Parking is available in the hotel parking garage at a discounted rate of $19.00/day for you and your guests even if you are not a guest of the Gaylord.
