The Global Mentor Network

The Global Mentor Network (GMN) is a revolutionary distance-mentoring program that offers secure mentoring and networking possibilities to our university community. Established in 2008, it has grown to over four thousand students and alumni ready to connect in rewarding relationships.

Students who have completed at least three credit hours at our university can join as mentees.

Graduate level students or alumni who have completed at least 12 credit hours at our university with a 3.50 GPA, or have substantial professional experience demonstrated by an employment history are welcome to become mentors.

Relationship Possibilities:

One on One Mentoring

One-to-One Mentoring
allows mentees to connect and work closely with mentors who provide advice on career, academic, and life goals.

Situational Mentoring

Situational Mentoring
allows mentees to solicit advice on a single topic. Once posted, the topic is accessible to all GMN mentors, allowing for multiple answers from different mentors across a wide range of expertise.

Group Mentoring

Group Networking
creates discipline-based networks for all GMN users to join. Each group is led by mentors eager to answer questions, initiate conversation, and provide resources relevant to the group. Mentees may also engage other mentees in dialogue.
