The Global Mentor Network continues its momentum with over 4,500 participants and 33 group networking circles. Its most recent additions: the Technical Writing group network and The Meeting Place: Ideas, Suggestions, and Help group. The Technical Writing group is available to all GMN participants with an interest in improving their technical writing skills. Mentors and mentees have the ability to exchange resources and advice on the genre of technical writing, its academic uses, and potential career paths. The Meeting Place: Ideas, Suggestions, and Help is a new type of group, designed to provide a space for the expression of new ideas, suggestions, and requests for GMN assistance. The name of the group is temporary. We hope students and alumni will sign in today, join the group, and post a suggestion for a new group name!
