Drum Roll Please...

We’ve all been waiting anxiously to discover the new name of our Student Newsletter! Well, the wait is over; the verdict is in! In last quarter’s edition, we advertised our first ever contest to name our Student Newsletter and you came through once again with great suggestions!  We had quite a few submissions come into the Student Lounge and the Office of Student Affairs. It was a challenge to narrow it down, but one fit the bill!

The name of our Student Newsletter will be…..Drum Roll Please….

Eagles Landing!

Congratulations go to Frances Arias for posting her winning suggestion in the Student Lounge!  As the eagle is the primary symbol on our seal, Eagles Landing was the perfect name to incorporate symbolism from both of our Universities. The next edition of our newsletter will carry its new name, along with some upgrades.
In addition to our winning selection, there were four runner-ups and we wanted to recognize those titles as well.

The Advantage

The Beacon
The Urruagh Gazette

Again, thank you to everyone who contributed suggestions to the naming contest!  As always, if we can improve your Student Newsletter in additional ways, please let us know!  For comments or questions, send an email to the editor at newsletter@apus.edu.
