Message from the Provost

Dear Students:

Let me start by highlighting some shining examples of how the American Public University System and our two sister universities, American Military University and American Public University, have been growing in reputation.

• One graduate reported that, as a White House Fellow, he had the opportunity to help author key documents in homeland security for the Bush Administration.
• The National Parks Service chose us as a partner for the 150th anniversary of John Brown’s raid.
• A major intelligence organization in the defense department is partnering with us to rethink their intelligence education.

These are all events that have occurred in just the last few weeks! I hope that you know that you are attending institutions that are rare and amazing. I thank each and every one of you for choosing us as your university of record and wish you all well in your studies.
