About the Faculty

Many of the Criminal Justice faculty at American Military University are experienced professionals from state, local, and federal law enforcement organizations. They have practical experience and are educated in the discipline they instruct.

Dr. Daniel Robb is a senior special agent for the Office of Investigations, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Department of Homeland Security, and has over 32 years of government service. He has investigative experience in narcotics trafficking, money laundering, smuggling, fraud, child exploitation, and strategic export. Robb served in the U.S. Customs Service (USCS) where he was responsible for developing the technical surveillance countermeasures program. He was previously a special agent with the Naval Investigative Service to include an assignment with the Technical Services Division, and experience in the full range of crimes against persons and property. Prior to that, he was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Military Police; a Special Officer, Ralston Police Department, Ralston, Nebraska; and a Vietnam veteran in the USMC enlisted ranks. Citations include the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association Medal of Valor, and the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association Bravery Award. He received a B.A. in criminal justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, an M.S. in management from National-Louis University, and a doctorate of philosophy in human services (criminal justice specialization) from Walden University, where he was a National Public Service Fellow. He is an adjunct faculty member within the Department of Criminal Justice at American Military University where he teaches a wide variety of graduate courses in criminal justice.
