About the Faculty
The AMU faculty brings both real-world experience and advanced academic knowledge to the AMU Fire Science Management curriculum. Many are executives in government, business and non-profit organizations.
Chris Reynolds is a professor at AMU who teaches courses in disaster management, fire management and terrorism. He has 26 years experience in fire rescue services, which includes command at fires, mass casualties, disasters, hazardous materials incidents and other emergency and non-emergency activities. Reynolds is also a Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. His team was activated under the Presidential Partial Mobilization order issued shortly after September 11th attacks in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Reynolds is battalion fire chief and paramedic with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, Tampa, Fla. He is pursuing his doctoral degree the University of Sarasota/Argosy.
