About the Faculty

The AMU faculty brings both real-world experience and advanced academic knowledge to the AMU Fire Science Management curriculum. Many are executives in government, business and non-profit organizations.

Dr. William "BJ" Jetter is an adjunct professor at AMU. Dr. Jetter is a 26 year veteran of the fire service and is currently the EMS & Fire Director in Sycamore Township, Ohio. He is also the Executive Chairman of the Hamilton County Urban Search & Rescue Team, Vice President of Greater Cincinnati Hazardous Materials Unit and a Task Force Member of the Weapons of Mass Destruction Team in Hamilton County, Ohio. He is involved with the Ohio Fire Chief’s Association in the development of courses for fire chiefs in Ohio and is putting together reference material and professional diagrams for career paths for fire chiefs. Dr. Jetter has a doctorate in Fire Safety management.
