About the Faculty
The APU Management faculty brings both real-world experience and advanced academic knowledge to the APU Management curriculum. Many are executives in government, business and non-profit organizations.
Dr. Robin Berenson received her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University-Sarasota; her M.S. in Human Resource Development from Towson University; and her B.A. in Psychology from University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Additionally, she is a Job and Career Transition Coach (JCTC). Dr. Berenson's dissertation focused on Emotional Intelligence as a predictor for success in online learning.
Dr. Berenson developed and implemented a leadership development program for Spartanburg Community College. Her work experience spans multiple disciplines which include academia, health care, human resources, business, and management. She is a member of the speaker's bureau and has spoken on topics such as leadership, teams, online learning, service learning, and organizational development.
Dr. Berenson's current research interests include leadership development; emotional intelligence; and predictors of success in online learning.
