About the Faculty
Professor Steven McNally has 29 years of combined professional experience in security management, law enforcement, corrections, military service and private security/investigative consulting. He is board certified in security management (Certified Protection Professional) by the American Society for Industrial Security and has been designated a Certified Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. McNally is currently the Director of Public Safety for the upscale private community of Williams Island in Miami, Florida. He holds a master of arts in business and organizational security management from Webster University and a bachelor of science in criminology and criminal justice from Eastern Michigan University. McNally is an adjunct faculty member within the Department of Criminal Justice and Security Management at American Public University where he currently teaches a variety of courses in criminal justice and security management.
