Welcome to the Transfer Equivalency Database

This database houses thousands of transfer credit equivalencies and is designed to be used as an unofficial guideline to potential credit award. Your previously earned credit is officially reviewed towards an APUS degree program after you complete the new student application, orientation, and submit the Transfer Credit Evaluation Online Form. You may use this database to get an idea of how your previous course work could be applied to your APUS degree.

Disclaimer: The APUS Transfer Equivalency Database is designed to be a resource to identify potential transfer credit and associated APUS course equivalents from completed course work at other academic institutions. It is in no way an official determination nor a guarantee of transfer credit award. All students wishing to receive transfer credit toward a degree with APUS must have an official transfer credit evaluation performed by the university. All information contained within this database reflects the current APUS catalog requirements and is subject to change at any time, without prior notification. When utilizing this database, information entered into the search fields should come directly from an official transcript to prevent discrepancies between the equivalency database and the university's official transfer credit evaluation. All search fields must be completed to perform a search; in the event a course does not have a prefix, enter the value "NONE" into the search field. According to current academic policy on transfer credit, APUS only accepts undergraduate credit that was earned with a grade of C or above. APUS also only accepts graduate credit that was earned with a grade of B or above and was completed within ten years of a student's current APUS program start date. Students eligible for Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) programs or other articulations should not use this database to determine potential transfer credit award. Additional information about academic policy, SOC programs, university articulation agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and credit by examination can be found throughout the TCE Website.
