Course Cancellation Policy
The Center for Professional and Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or combine programs that do not meet the minimum participant requirement. In the event of a cancellation, each affected participant will be notified concerning the cancellation or alternative(s).
Course Drop Policy
The Center for Professional and Continuing Education reserves the right to drop a student that does not meet the minimum participation requirement prescribed for each given non-credit course or program. In the event of a student being dropped, the affected student will be notified concerning the drop and if an appropriate refund will be issued (see Non-Credit Refund Policy).
Course Refund Policy
To receive a refund (minus non-refundable course materials costs, if applicable) you must email a withdrawal request to credentialing@apus.edu. Refunds will be processed in accordance with the following policies and schedules:
CLTD 12-Week Course Tuition Refund Schedule
Initial participation is required by no later than the end of the fifth day of a course. If a student does not participate in a class session by the end of the fifth day of a course, non-participation may result in the student being automatically dropped at which time a 100% refund will be processed and awarded to the student. Refunds (minus non-refundable course materials costs, if applicable) are awarded according to the following refund schedule.
A refund only applies to the cost of the Center for Professional and Continuing Education instruction and does not apply to course materials. A refund does not include the APICS learning system, APICS exam, and APICS license. A refund will only be granted for the portion of the course related to the Center for Professional and Continuing Education instruction.

Cohort-Based Online Courses or Programs Refund Schedule
All cohort-based online courses and programs require initial participation by no later than the end of the fifth day of a course. Self-Paced Online Courses or Programs Tuition Refund Schedule
No refund will be granted upon gaining access to a self-paced online course or program. An exception is granted to residents of Virginia who may request a refund according to the following refund schedule.
