Lindsey Larson Headshot

Ms. Lindsey Larson joined American Public University System (APUS) in 2012 and has held a variety of positions across the institution prior to her current role as Vice President, Chief of Staff.

Among her accomplishments, she implemented a transformative communication process within Academics, significantly improving process transparency and decision making. In addition, throughout her tenure, Lindsey has led efforts for academic capitalized labor, assisted with a redesign of the faculty performance management processes, rank advancement, as well as transfer friendly initiatives. She holds a demonstrated focus on student success and a dedication to the development of process cohesiveness, refinement, communication planning, and university operation management.

Lindsey’s dedication to student success and continued improvement is evident in her leadership as co-liaison in the Excellence in Academic Advising initiative, a high profile comprehensive two-year self-study created by the Gardner Institute and NACADA, as well as her co-leadership on a subcommittee for our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives.

Lindsey is a graduate of Shepherd University, where she received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in Music. She also holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Shepherd University and was a member of the honor society Phi Kappa Phi. Lindsey is a graduate of our APUS Next Generation Leadership Academy and the 2022 APUS Excellence in Service Award winner.
