March 15, 2017 –  APUS received a fifth Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Effective Practice Award. This year for “Applying a Group Coaching and Mentoring Framework to Shift an Organization Culture" – a university coaching and mentoring initiative designed to strengthen the principles and practices of teaching excellence. LTG Richard G. Trefry U.S. Army Achievement Award

April 23, 2009 – The Lieutenant General Richard G. Trefry Lifetime of Service Award was created in honor of APUS Trustee, Lieutenant General Richard G.
