Dr. Jeremi Bauer

Dr. Jeremi Bauer is Dean of the Dr. Wallace E. Boston School of Business. He formerly served as the interim Chief Academic Officer at Post University in Waterbury, Conn. With a distinguished career in academia, Dr. Bauer has held the role of Dean for both the School of Arts and Sciences and The Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University. As an Associate Professor of Marketing, he has demonstrated unwavering commitment and excellence in higher education. 

Dr. Bauer’s contributions extend beyond his academic roles – he has played a pivotal part in the programmatic accreditor for the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), serving as the Chair for Region 1 for three consecutive years. His exceptional work has been acknowledged through numerous awards and recognitions.

Dr. Bauer’s influence in the academic realm extends to his dedication to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). He spearheaded the creation of the first Chief Diversity Officer role within the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University. During Dr. Bauer’s tenure as Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, he initiated a groundbreaking effort to increase female representation in STEM education and professions, resulting in the development of new academic programs and a significant boost in enrollment. Notably, he led successful accreditation campaigns for both the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Business, obtaining initial accreditation through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and securing re-affirmation of accreditation from ACBSP. Furthermore, Dr. Bauer’s expertise as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt underscores his dedication to excellence.

Dr. Bauer’s academic journey is marked by both perseverance and an unyielding commitment to learning. He began his academic career as a standout four-year varsity athlete in two sports at SUNY College at Brockport. Despite initially leaving one class shy of graduation, his passion for learning brought him back. Dr. Bauer earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and MBA from the University of Phoenix. He has a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University. His dissertation focused on voluntary employee turnover. 

Dr. Bauer also earned an additional Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, sparking his enrollment in the Ph.D. in Psychology program at Grand Canyon University. His current research interests center on positive psychology, ADHD, and cognitive psychology, exemplifying his appetite for knowledge and research.
