Dr. Jeremi Bauer is the Dean of the Dr. Wallace E. Boston School of Business at APUS. In this role, he leads a mission-driven team of department chairs and faculty focused on continuous improvement, and innovation of teaching and learning.
Dr. Bauer joined APUS in January 2024. Previously, he served as a dean for both an Arts & Sciences program and a School of Business, and before that he was an Associate Provost for Academic Strategy and an interim Provost. As an Associate Professor of Marketing, Dr. Bauer demonstrated an unwavering commitment to teaching excellence. He is a participant in accreditation bodies (ACBSP, CCNE, ACEN, NAEYC, and ABET) serving as the President for Region 1 within the ACBSP organization.
Dr. Bauer’s influence in academics extends to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). He championed the first Chief Diversity Officer role in a school of business in his prior deanship, a pioneering achievement within ACBSP. These efforts were recognized by Diversity Insights in late 2023.
Dr. Bauer holds a DBA from Walden University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in business from the University of Phoenix, and one in psychology from Post University. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Grand Canyon University. He is also a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
