American Public University System and National Cryptologic University Partner to Help NSA Employees Earn Degrees

Charles Town, WV— October 2, 2023 – American Public University System (APUS) today announced a partnership with the National Cryptologic University (NCU), a school within the National Security Agency (NSA), to give NSA employees accelerated options to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees at either American Military University or American Public University

APUS has been designated by the NSA and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense. Additionally, APUS is a member of the U.S. Cyber Command’s (CYBERCOM) Academic Engagement Network (AEN), a collaboration between academia and CYBERCOM to leverage capabilities and talent of both groups to provide a more robust cyber defense.

NCU, founded in 1965, develops and delivers curriculum in cryptology, cybersecurity, language, and leadership for agency employees, in addition to curriculum for the Central Security Service, the U.S. intelligence community, and armed services.
